Bio
Nykilah is passionate about building positive, meaningful relationships and being a stepping stone in the success of others. Her goal is to provide a supportive and encouraging space for those who may need guidance, motivation, or someone in their corner. She truly enjoys celebrating both the small victories and the major milestones that make up each person’s journey.
Nykilah earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies from University of New Mexico and went on to receive her Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University.
As a former Division I athlete, Nykilah played softball at University of New Mexico and later coached at Western New Mexico University. Her experiences as both an athlete and coach inspired her passion for specializing in athletic mental health. Through her background in sports, she understands the unique pressures athletes face and the importance of mental wellness, confidence, resilience, and balance both on and off the field.
Outside of her professional life, Nykilah enjoys spending time with family and friends, being with her three mastiffs, attending Bible studies, photography, and staying active through fitness and working out.
